Last year, IncQuery Labs joined the Lowcomote project, an international academic program that aims to train 15 PhD students, who will become the leaders of tomorrow's low-code development platforms. The project is funded by Horizon 2020, an initiative of the European Union to support innovation, research and development on the continent.

As a member of the Lowcomote team, IncQuery Labs was excited to welcome the researcher who will work with our team during the upcoming three years. Benedek Horváth joined IncQuery Labs in January 2020. His main research area will be model transformation, and relating to that, Benedek is going to work on the IncQuery Model Analysis Suite, our powerful systems engineering design analysis and review tool.

The Lowcomote project’s first networking event took place at IMT Atlantic in Nantes, France. During the first week of December, participants could learn more about model-driven engineering. Researchers were introduced to lectures about the Eclipse Modelling Framework, Graphical Modelling using GMF and Eugenia, and model validation and transformation using Epsilon.

After the presentations, participating PhD students could put the theory into practice and work in groups of 2-3 on questions relating to the lectures. After the formal presentations and group projects, organizers also arranged informal meetings where participants could get to know each other.

IncQuery Labs is looking forward to continuing the work and cooperation in the future. We will keep on bringing you the latest updates on the Lowcomote project.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 813884.
